Most beginner guitars have nylon strings but unless you want to play classical or Spanish music, you may be disappointed. String action is the measurement from the top of the 12th fret to the bottom of the string. This is very important because a guitar with a high action is hard to play, a guitar with too low an action will buzz and sound bad. It has a Built-in Pickup with EQ & Tuner so if you want to play through an amp or PA system, or even record, it's easy to connect your guitar up for a great sound.

A Truss Rod that allows you to correct for the effects of weather on the guitar help keep the neck straight and the action height the neck can be adjusted.

This case is a solid construction with 3 hinges and 3 latches. This will fit all types of Dreadnought Acoustic guitars. If you're not sure if your guitar is a dreadnought please send us the Brand & Model number or a picture of the guitar. It has sturdy wooden construction with a lockable Latch (the key is inside the case). This case has a small storage compartment for strings and other small accessories.

The new DC300 cases now feature a higher quality stitching for its bindings.
